The Islamabad Traffic Police has waived the mandatory 42-day learner period for college and university students seeking motorcycle licences, allowing them to obtain their licences on the same day.
According to an Islamabad Traffic Police spokesperson, the special facility will remain available from November 1 to November 30, 2026.

Students wishing to benefit from the initiative have been advised to visit the Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters to obtain their motorcycle licences without waiting for the usual 42-day learner period. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan said the initiative aims to facilitate young people in obtaining motorcycle licences in accordance with legal requirements and encourage compliance with traffic laws. The initiative is intended to make the licensing process easier for students while promoting lawful and responsible motorcycle riding.
