TECNO releases ‘Camon 50 Ultra’

TECNO Mobile has officially launched its new 5G smartphone, Tecno Camon 50 Ultra, in Pakistan.

The new mobile series combines high-speed connectivity with a camera-focused setup, reflecting increasing demand for performance and mobile photography.

The phone is powered by a 5G chipset designed to support faster internet speeds and smoother everyday use.

It comes with 12GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 24GB, allowing users to run multiple apps at the same time.

As mobile data usage continues to grow in Pakistan, companies are increasingly focusing on devices that can handle streaming, gaming and general browsing without delays.

The CAMON 50 Ultra 5G includes a 50-megapixel main camera developed with Sony technology, along with a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide camera.

The device also offers high zoom capability and features aimed at improving low-light photography. A 50-megapixel front camera is included for selfies and video calls.

Manufacturers are placing greater emphasis on camera quality, as more users rely on smartphones for social media and content creation.

The phone has a curved design and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. It also comes with water and dust resistance, which allows limited use in outdoor or challenging conditions.

Battery capacity stands at 6500mAh, supported by fast charging. This is intended to support longer usage throughout the day.

The device is priced at Rs119,999 and is available across Pakistan.

It is approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), meaning it can be used on local mobile networks.

The company says the launch is part of its effort to bring newer technologies, including 5G and advanced camera systems, to a wider range of users.
