Three terrorists arrested after explosives found in Karachi

A case has been registered after explosive material was recovered from Karachi’s Baldia area.

According to officials, the case includes charges under anti-terrorism laws and the Explosives Act.

Authorities said the militants were preparing a truck to carry out terrorist activities in the city. During the raid, 2,000 kilograms of explosive material, more than 30 drums, and five cylinders were seized.

According to sources, the terrorists were planning to target key public places using this truck.

Now, the security agencies have safely seized the explosives.

Officials said the operation is a significant success in foiling terrorist plans, and such actions will continue to ensure the safety of citizens.

In another development, an anti-terrorism court indicted two men in a case related to facilitating terrorists in the Karachi airport suicide attack case.

Saeed Ali, a trader, and Bilal, an officer at a private bank, have been arrested for allegedly facilitating and arranging funds through a private bank in Hub Chowki, Balochistan, to purchase a vehicle that was used in the deadly bombing targeting the Chinese nationals near the airport.
