A Lahore sessions court has granted interim bail to TikToker Ali Hyderabadi until July 14 in a domestic violence case registered over allegations of assaulting his wife.

The interim bail was approved by an additional sessions judge, who also restrained police from arresting Ali Hyderabadi until the next hearing.

During the proceedings, former Lahore Bar president Rana Intizar, representing the TikToker, argued that his client was willing to join the investigation but feared he could be arrested before doing so. He requested the court to grant interim bail.

Accepting the plea, the court directed Ali Hyderabadi to cooperate with the investigation and appear before the investigating authorities. His interim bail will remain in effect until July 14.

A case against Ali Hyderabadi was registered at Sundar Police Station in Lahore on charges of allegedly subjecting his wife to domestic violence. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Earlier, Ali Hyderabadi’s ex-wife went on the record for the first time since they divorced. In an emotional video she posted on social media, detailing a variety of serious allegations against her former husband.

She alleged in her statement that Ali Hyderabadi had threatened her on many occasions, both during and after the relationship. He allegedly threatened to have her killed, claiming to have influential connections, she said.

In addition, she commented on the hardships she faced during their marriage and requested that the police provide her with justice and safeguards.
