The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications regarding several key appointments, transfers, postings, study leave approvals and reinstatements across the federal bureaucracy.
According to the notifications, Grade-19 officer Muhammad Hassan Abdullah Malik, who was awaiting posting at the Establishment Division, has been placed at the disposal of the National Highway Authority (NHA).
Section Officer of the Defence Division Uzma Naz Satti has been transferred to the post of Officer on Special Duty (OSD), while her study leave from August 13, 2026, to July 15, 2028, has also been approved.
Grade-18 Audit Officer Faisal Iqbal, who was posted at the Establishment Division, has been transferred and his services returned to his parent department, the Auditor General of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Syed Zawad Haider, who was awaiting appointment, has been posted as Section Officer at the Establishment Division. The leave of Section Officer Housing and Works Division Ambreen Mazhar has also been extended for another three months. She has been directed to report to the Establishment Division upon completion of her leave on September 30, 2026.
The notification further stated that Muhammad Arif Tahseen’s appointment as Deputy Secretary, National Food Security, has been cancelled and he has instead been posted as Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Human Rights.
Separately, the penalty imposed on Grade-18 Pakistan Administrative Service officer Nauman Afzal Awan has been withdrawn. The penalty included a censure and withholding of one increment for two years. The proceedings against him were concluded in light of a decision by the Federal Service Tribunal.
Suspended Section Officer Hamad Hassan has also been reinstated, while ASP Hamid Ahsan, who was posted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
In addition, study leave for Grade-17 officer Hamid Ahsan Waraich has been approved until August 30, 2027.
The Establishment Division has also transferred Section Officer Nasreen Farhan from the Establishment Division to the Housing and Works Division.
