Two civilians were allegedly kidnapped in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, with armed BLA terrorists taking them towards the Killi Anjeeri area along with a Shahzor vehicle belonging to a courier and logistics company.
According to reports, the incident occurred on 24 July 2026, when four armed men affiliated with BLA Fitna-al-Hindustan allegedly abducted Jan Muhammad, son of Ghashti, and Sajjad Ali, son of Ali Muhammad Ghashti. Both individuals are reportedly residents of Quetta and Islamabad.
Jan Muhammad’s permanent address is listed as Mohalla Hazara Town, Brewery Road, Quetta, while his present address is Margalla Valley, Bhara Kahu, Islamabad. The second abductee, Sajjad Ali, is also associated with Bhara Kahu, Islamabad, and Alamdar Road, Quetta.
According to reports, on 26 July 2026 at around 10:00 am, the kidnappers allegedly contacted Muhammad Imran, the owner of the courier and logistics company, and demanded Rs25 million (Rs2.5 crore) as ransom for the release of the two abducted individuals.
The kidnappers reportedly threatened to kill the hostages if the ransom demand was not fulfilled. Sources claimed that both abductees and the Shahzor vehicle remain in the custody of the banned BLA.
It is worth mentioning here that on Friday, in a successful intelligence-based operation, security forces killed four terrorists belonging to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which authorities say operates with the support of India, in the Kolpur Spalanji area of Kachhi district, Balochistan.
According to security sources, the forces surrounded a hideout of the banned BLA terrorists in the Kolpur Spalanji area. The terrorists opened fire on the security forces, prompting an effective and robust response. As a result, four terrorists were killed on the spot.
