The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has formally declared that for admission in undergraduate Fall 2026, its Combined Entrance Test will be conducted from March 30 to April 2, 2026.

The announcement has created a buzz among aspiring engineers all over the country as this test is one of the key requirements for students to gain entry into UET and its affiliated institutes.

According to Rana Tanveer Qasim, spokesperson of UET, the entrance test will be conducted in various sessions during the four-day period.

To cater the large number of aspirants, examination centres have been established in various locations on main campus of UET Lahore as well as its sub-campuses and affiliated institutions in various cities.

This arrangement is directed to ensure smooth conduct of the examination and provide ease for the candidates from different parts of the country.

This year around 18500 candidates are expected to appear for the test including the ones who had appeared for the mock test.

The entrance examination will be carried out on a computer, showcasing university moving towards modern and efficient modes of testing.

Each session of the test will last for 100 minutes and during the test candidates will be examined based on their academic aptitude and their relevant knowledge in a subject.

To help the candidates familiarise with the testing environment and system, a mock test has also been organised.

The mock test which will be conducted at the same designated centres, gives an opportunity to the students to get familiar with the format and time and technical facilities of the computerised exam.

The cities where the test will be conducted are UET Lahore and its campuses at Faisalabad and Narowal, Rachna College of Engineering and Technology Gujranwala, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan, UET Taxila, the University of Gujrat, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, Islamia University of Bahawalpur Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus and NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan.

These centres will jointly house the candidates in an organised and systematic manner.
