The US President, Donald Trump, said that he has ordered the United States (US) Navy to attack all the Iranian boats.
He wrote in a post on Truth Social, “I have ordered the United States Navy to shoot and kill any boat, small boats though they may be (Their naval ships are ALL, 159 of them, at the bottom of the sea!), that is putting mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. There is to be no hesitation. Additionally, our mine “sweepers” are clearing the Strait right now. I am hereby ordering that activity to continue, but at a tripled-up level! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Earlier, the United States (US) President Donald Trump had put forward an extensive $1.5 trillion defence budget request for the fiscal year 2027, representing the most significant year-over-year increase in military expenditure since the conclusion of World War II.
This proposal, revealed by the United States Department of Defence, includes major investments in ships, aircraft, missile defence systems, and advanced technologies aimed at enhancing America’s military capabilities.
A prominent aspect of the budget is the introduction of a new category termed “presidential priorities,” which emphasises initiatives such as the Golden Dome missile defence system, dominance in drone warfare, artificial intelligence programs, and the enhancement of military data infrastructure.
Officials at the Pentagon assert that these projects are intended to modernise defence capabilities and guarantee that the United States retains technological superiority in future conflicts.
In addition, naval expansion is a crucial element of the proposal, with over $65 billion earmarked for the acquisition of 18 warships and 16 support vessels under the “Golden Fleet” initiative.
