A unique “Vibe Coding Contest” has been formally launched for Pakistani youth, in which they will get a golden opportunity to win Rs2.5 million.
According to details, the Ministry of Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunication, in collaboration with Google for Developers, has formally launched a unique competition of its kind in Pakistan, “Vibe Coding Contest”.
This competition is part of the government’s broader vision “AI Sehkho 2026”. This aims to promote the culture of artificial intelligence in the country.
A total prize money of Rs2.5 million has been set aside for developers and coders who perform exceptionally.
Vibe Coding Contest: what you need to know
The competitions will be held in three major cities of Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, where shortlisted developers will present their innovative projects.
The first phase of the program will run from April 11 to May 3. Here participants will develop apps and games using “Google AI Studio” through an online challenge.
The program is completely free, and participants will also get cloud credits, mentorship and access to global developer communities.
Developers interested in the competition can register through the official portal of “AI Sehkho 2026”.

You can easily apply for free for an 8-week AI course that has been approved by the HEC.

The programme is completely free. It also focuses on inclusion with a targeted 50:50 gender participation ratio.
