The vivo iQOO 15 Ultra has taken the spotlight in the global smartphone market after recording the highest-ever AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 4.5 million, placing it ahead of all current flagship devices.
The phone has already launched in China, and tech fans in Pakistan are now waiting for news about its possible arrival. While vivo has not confirmed a launch date for Pakistan, early leaks suggest the powerful device could be priced around Rs250,000 if it enters the local market.
At this expected price, the iQOO 15 Ultra could challenge premium rivals such as the upcoming iPhone 17, Samsung Galaxy S25, and Mi Note 15T Pro, while potentially offering stronger performance at a lower cost. The device is being positioned as a high-end performance phone, particularly for mobile gamers and heavy users.
The iQOO 15 Ultra builds on the foundation of the standard iQOO 15 but introduces several major upgrades. One of its standout features is a massive 7,400mAh battery supported by 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, promising longer usage and faster top-ups.
The phone also features an upgraded display capable of reaching a peak brightness of 8,000 nits, making it one of the brightest smartphone screens available. It retains the impressive 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K resolution, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.
In terms of design, the handset adopts a futuristic look with a honeycomb-textured rear panel and a transparent-style camera module. Comfort has also been improved with curved corners and a specially designed L-shaped charging cable that allows easier use while gaming during charging.
Performance remains the main highlight. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite chipset, paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM. This combination helps the device handle heavy multitasking and demanding gaming with ease. A dedicated Q3 gaming chip supports 2K gaming and high frame rate performance, while redesigned shoulder triggers, a fast gyroscope, and ultra-responsive touch controls aim to deliver a console-like gaming experience.
To manage heat during long gaming sessions, vivo has introduced its Ice Dome Cooling system, which includes a built-in active cooling fan and a large vapour chamber for heat dissipation. This setup is designed to maintain stable performance without slowdowns.
On the camera side, the iQOO 15 Ultra features a triple 50MP rear setup, including a Sony primary sensor, ultra-wide lens, and periscope telephoto camera, along with a 32MP front camera. Additional features include IP68 and IP69 water resistance, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
If launched in Pakistan, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to attract gamers and power users looking for top-level performance in a flagship smartphone.
