WEB DESK: The wedding of Anwar Maqsood’s granddaughter and daughter of Bilal Maqsood, lead guitarist of String band, has become the latest talks of the town.
The foreign son in law of Bilal Maqsood has everyone talking and net citizens are wondering how the couple ended up getting married.
Bilal Maqsood’s daughter Zehra tied the knot with a foreign man Arthur in an intimate wedding ceremony on Sunday, January 4.
The ceremony was attended by close family members and Zehra’s foreign in-laws.
Adnan Siddiqui and Faisal Kapadia were among the showbiz guests at the event. Veteran writer Anwar Maqsood also attended the wedding.
He was seen matching outfits with his grandsons. They wore white kurta shalwar with mint green waistcoats.
The pictures of the wedding have gone viral and placing the net citizens in a frenzy. The hue and cry over the wedding has led to Bilal Maqsood issuing a statement urging everyone to respect his family’s privacy and refrain from sharing private photos of their event.
In a post on social media Bilal Maqsood has written, “We have noticed some private event photos being picked up by pages. Guests shared these photos in good faith. But we like to keep the celebrations private”. He has also urged the media to only share what he has personally posted on his socials and avoid any other pictures/videos.
