The federal health minister, Mustafa Kamal, said while speaking to journalists that the government will do justice to MDCAT candidates, adding that the MDCAT exam could be re-taken if any irregularities are found.

According to the details, the investigation is underway regarding the irregularities in the MDCAT result. Kamal further told journalists that an inquiry committee has been formed on my directions. He also said that the committee will present the inquiry report next week.

The federal health minister said that the reality will come out after the inquiry report is made public.

He said that the government will do justice to MDCAT candidates, adding that the exams could be re-taken if any irregularities are found.

It is pertinent to mention that Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Doctor Farooq Sattar urged the Sindh government to release the MDCAT question paper.

He said alleged paper leaks, blatant nepotism, favouritism and violations of Karachi students’ rights in the MDCAT examinations would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He accused IBA Sukkur and the Sindh government of playing with the future of Karachi’s youth.
