Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain recently expressed concerns over the recovery of illegal human organs and meat from elite sectors in Islamabad.
In an Instagram story, he reposted the case saying, “Yeh sab ho kya raha hai bhai?!?”
Yasir Hussain is among many celebrities and political figures who have reacted to the recent illegal human organs smuggling ring busted in Islamabad.
Actress Xarnish Khan also applauded the FIA’s successful operation against the human organ trafficking network.
Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri urged the government of Pakistan to launch a full-scale investigation into the matter.
In a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, she shared, “I unequivocally denounce the reported case of illegal human organ trafficking in Islamabad. If these allegations are confirmed, they expose a horrific criminal enterprise that has stripped human life of its dignity and reduced vulnerable individuals to commodities for profit. Such crimes are an affront to humanity and must never be tolerated.”
FIA busts illegal human organ trafficking ring in Islamabad
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has uncovered an alleged illegal human organs, including human placenta and meat trafficking ring in sectors F-7 and E-11 in Islamabad.
During a major operation carried out by FIA, five suspects including three Chinese nationals and two Pakistani citizens were arrested.
The suspects were identified as Li Geng Lei, Wang Bao, Pengfei Gao, Waqas Sarwar and Qaiser Hanif.
According to FIA’s initial investigation, the network was allegedly involved in illegal collection and processing of human biological material, mainly human placenta.
