Recently, Zara Noor Abbas came to her mother’s defence after Asma Abbas’s Eid collection designs received trolling on social media.
In a story posted on Instagram, Zara Noor Abbas replied to the criticism by saying, “In a country where freedom of anything and everything is called out to troll, especially when it’s art and expression. Asma Abbas, you are amazing and I love you for who you are because that is insanely and truly authentic and not made to please anyone.”
Recently, Asma Abbas introduced her brand ‘Asma Abbas Designs’ Eid collection on May 19.
She showcased trendy traditional outfits for Eid, mainly featuring colorful chatapati silk shalwars matched with short silk shirts and waistcoats (koti).
The designs appeared to be heavily influenced by Indian Punjabi culture, leading to major trolling on social media over her Eid collection.
