Reports suggest that India’s tour of Bangladesh was originally scheduled for last year but was postponed due to diplomatic tensions between the two countries.
Under the proposed schedule, the two teams are expected to play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). However, neither the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nor the Bangladesh Cricket Board has made an official announcement or confirmed the series.
Media reports also indicate that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has invited bids for the broadcasting rights for a five-match home series against Pakistan, which is scheduled to be held in 2027.
