Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 69 runs in the 4th match of the Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Tri-nation T20I Series 2025 at Rawalpindi on Sunday, after a powerful batting display set up a commanding total.
Pakistan posted a huge target of 195 for 5 in 20 overs because of superb opening stand and a ruthless finish. Sahibzada Farhan gave Pakistan a flying start with 63 off 41 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 153.66.
The innings was then anchored by Pakistan’s star batter, Babar Azam, who produced a classy 74 off 52 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes with the SR 142.31.
He kept one end solid while the remaining batting line-up including Fakhar Zaman attacked around him.
Pakistan’s bowlers put in a strong all-round performance, with Usman Tariq taking 4 for 18 in 4 overs at an economy of just 4.50.
He was well supported by Mohammad Nawaz (2 for 21), while Naseem Shah, Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Faheem Ashraf chipped in with a wicket each to keep Zimbabwe in check.
