Govt launches youth card initiative for 100,000 youth

The Sindh government has completed preparations for the launch of the Sindh Youth Card, with the official inauguration set to be held by Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the last week of this month.

Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar, said in a statement that 100,000 young people aged 15 to 29 from all 30 districts of Sindh will receive the Sindh Youth Card in the first phase.

He said cardholders will be eligible for higher education scholarships at universities, interest-free loans, financial assistance, and other government facilities.

The minister added that the registration process for the Sindh Youth Card has been made fully online and simple to enable as many young people as possible to benefit from the initiative.

He clarified that the Sindh Youth Card will only be issued to applicants who hold a Sindh domicile.

Big relief for jobless youth as more than 1000 jobs are announced

There is great news for unemployed Pakistani youth, as recruitment for hundreds of new government jobs has been approved.

According to a private TV channel, approval has been granted for hundreds of new positions in the Federal Police (Islamabad Police), along with permission to recruit for these posts.

A total of 1,934 new positions have been approved in Islamabad Police, and recruitment will be carried out in the Special Protection Unit and the Law and Order Division.

Out of these, 997 new positions have been approved for the protection of VIPs and sensitive installations, while 937 positions have been approved for maintaining law and order.

For these vacancies, 1,580 constables and 180 head constables will be recruited.

In addition, 24 inspector positions have also been approved for supervising field operations. A total of 100 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) and 50 Sub-Inspectors (SIs) will also be inducted directly into the force.
