In a major development for the affectees of Capital Sector G-15, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has recovered 132 kanals of government land during a large-scale anti-encroachment operation in Sector G-15/3.
In another significant step, allotment letters were distributed among 38 affected allottees, reaffirming the Authority’s commitment to protecting the rights of genuine beneficiaries and accelerating the development of the housing scheme.
The recovery of the encroached land is expected to facilitate the timely execution of development work and strengthen public confidence in the Authority’s ongoing efforts to resolve long-standing issues in Sector G-15.
According to media reports, under the direction of the Director General of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal, a prestigious ceremony was organised to distribute allotment letters among the affected allottees of Sector G-15/3
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner/Land Acquisition Collector Almas Sabih Saqib, Director Land and Enforcement Lieutenant (R) Saad Bin Asad, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Anjum Aqeel, senior officers of the Authority, officials from the Public Relations Section, concerned officials, affected persons, and a large number of allottees.
Addressing the ceremony, the chief guest, MNA Anjum Aqeel, appreciated the performance of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority. He stated that the distribution of allotment letters would not only strengthen the confidence of the affected allottees but also provide fresh momentum for the project’s development.
The allottees affected by the matter welcomed the initiative and commended the FGEHA for addressing their longstanding concerns. They expressed optimism that the authority would continue to deliver its housing schemes with fairness, transparency, and efficiency.
Concluding the ceremony, FGEHA officials extended their gratitude to the chief guest, the allottees and all other attendees for their participation. They reiterated the authority’s unwavering commitment to developing secure, modern and high-quality housing projects for federal government employees and other beneficiaries, while upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability and professional excellence in all its operations.
