The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advised parents to ensure all required information is complete and accurate before applying for a B-Form (Child Registration Certificate) to avoid unnecessary delays in processing.
According to NADRA, parents applying through a NADRA registration centre or the Pak ID Mobile App should first ensure that both they and their spouse have valid and active Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs). Expired or inactive CNICs may delay the application process.
The authority also said that the personal information of both parents, including the names of their parents, spouse’s name and CNIC numbers, must be complete and correctly recorded in NADRA’s database.
In addition, the marital status of both parents must be correctly registered in NADRA’s records. If either parent is still listed as unmarried, the record should be updated before submitting a B-Form application.
NADRA further advised that the child’s birth must already be registered with the relevant Union Council, with all information entered accurately and completely.
For children aged three years and above, the child must be present during the application process so that a photograph and fingerprints can be captured.
NADRA urged parents to verify these requirements in advance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free B-Form application process.

Earlier, The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) introduced modern self-service kiosk machines at several locations, including its Blue Area office in Islamabad, to make identity card services quicker and more convenient for citizens.
According to NADRA, citizens can now use the automated kiosks to apply for the renewal of their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) or request a duplicate card if the original has been lost. The service allows users to submit applications without waiting in long queues or obtaining a token.
