The Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation has announced a five-member national squad for the 25th Asian Junior Tenpin Bowling Championship, set to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from August 21 to 30. Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation President Ejaz-ur-Rehman announced the national team, which comprises four boys and one girl player.
The boys’ team includes Aizaz-ur-Rehman, Ali Noman, Subhan Arsalan and Armaghan, while Elena Amjad will represent Pakistan in the girls’ category. The five-member Pakistan squad will depart for Jakarta on August 21 to compete in the championship.
Junior bowlers from Pakistan and other Asian countries are set to participate in the 25th Asian Junior Ten-Pin Bowling Championship, which will feature competitions in both boys’ and girls’ categories. On the other hand, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation has organised the Haq Azadi Cup Ten-Pin Bowling Championship at the Leisure City Bowling Club, Safa Gold Mall, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad.
The championship was inaugurated by Pakistan Ten-Pin Bowling Federation President Ijaz-ur-Rehman. Ghazanfar Bilal will defend his men’s singles title in the competition. Male and female bowlers from across the country are participating in the championship, which features competitions in eight categories: men’s singles, men’s doubles, ladies’ singles, amateur, deaf men’s singles, deaf ladies’ singles, trios and inter-school events.
The final rounds of the championship will be held on August 14, followed by a prize distribution ceremony for the winning players. The Pakistan Ten-Pin Bowling Federation has been organising the championship annually around Independence Day since 2003.
