Pakistani podcaster Junaid Akram threatened legal action against his wife after claiming that she is not letting him see their son.
In a story, Akram claimed that his “wife of 10 years has been preventing him from seeing their 6-year-old son despite repeated attempts on his part to resolve the matter privately and through various means.”
“I have therefore decided to pursue the appropriate legal route to protect my rights as a father and most importantly my relationship with my son”, he added.
This marked the first time the content creator had spoken publicly about his family, leaving many followers confused about the couple’s family dynamics.
Later, Akram took to Instagram to announce that the couple has reached a reconciliation. “It’s sad that personal matters had to reach the public eye like this, but I guess I was at my wits end and regret any impulsivity. Thank you all for your concern and keep my family in your prayers.”
In another story, Akram said that his wife wants to rename him in her phone. He said she has been given the options of Dr Nabiha, Rajab Butt and Imad Wasim hinting at the public disputes involving these personalities.
Akram’s decision to speak publicly about the matter came as a surprise to many, leaving the public wondering what had happened between the couple.
