IESCO announces load shedding schedule for August 16

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (v) has announced a temporary power suspension schedule for Sunday, August 16.

The power outages are planned for repair work, annual maintenance, development projects and the installation of AMI meters.

Where is load shedding scheduled tomorrow?

According to IESCO, several areas in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum will face power cuts at different times.

Jhelum and Chakwal

In Jhelum, the F-7 Kacheri feeder will remain closed from 6 AM to 10 AM.

In Chakwal, power supply will be suspended from 6 AM to 12 PM in areas linked to the Murid, Jamal Wal and Mangan feeders.

Other Areas

In the GSO circle, electricity will remain unavailable from 6 AM to 12 PM in New Choa, Baba Shaheed, Chappar, Fazal Shaheed, Kambili Sadiq, Kallar City, Doberan and Mal Awan.

Power supply will also be affected in Satellite Town MES and K-T-M MES from 6:30 AM to 5 PM. Miltabad, Charing Cross and Askari XI will face outages from 6:30 AM to 2 PM.

Taxila, Sangjani and Kahuta

IESCO said power will remain suspended from 9 AM to 4 PM in areas connected to the 132kV WCHMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani feeders. Burhan and nearby areas will also be affected.

From 8 AM to 6 PM, power supply will be suspended in areas linked to the 132kV Kahuta City, Palandri and 132kV New Wah feeders. Bahatar Mor and nearby areas will also be affected.

IESCO apologises to consumers

IESCO has apologised to consumers for the temporary power cuts. The company said electricity may be restored before the scheduled time if the repair and development work is completed early.
