Spider-Man: Brand New Day has achieved a new milestone at the box office after making it to $2 billion in just three weekends.

It has already become the highest-grossing Spider-Man movie.

The superhero movie has grossed $785 million in North America, $1.23 billion overseas and has earned a total of $2.022 billion in global sales.

This box office achievement enters the movie in the prestigious league of a handful of movies to reach the $2 billion mark.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now in the same category as Avengers: Endgame, Avatar: The Way of Water, Titanic, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Infinity War.

Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland’s last Spider-Man movie, was also almost there, making a total of $1.9 billion.

Brand New Day is also the second quickest film ever to earn $2 billion, after Avengers: Endgame, which reached the milestone in 11 days.

Since its release in late July, the movie has exceeded all box office expectations and surpassed people’s expectations.

For the opening weekend, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man made a record $355 million in the US and $932 million globally. This was his fourth solo movie as Spider-Man.

It then moved past a $1 billion international mark in six days.

The film is currently the eighth highest-grossing film in the world, and now people are guessing what the final box office number will be.

People are speculating if Brand New Day will be the first film to gross $1 billion domestically and even reach the record-breaking $3 billion worldwide.
