A new Premium Meet-and-Greet service has been launched at Islamabad International Airport to make travel easier and more comfortable for passengers.
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said the new service will provide passengers with personalised help during both arrival and departure.
What is the new Premium Meet-and-Greet service?
The premium service includes separate corridors and waiting areas for passengers. These facilities are designed to give travellers a smoother and more comfortable airport experience.
According to the PAA, the service will provide extra support to passengers and improve the standard of services at Islamabad International Airport.
The new facility is part of efforts to make airport services more convenient for travellers.
What are other new facilities at Islamabad Airport?
Earlier in March, the PAA also launched a currency exchange counter at the international arrivals lounge of Islamabad International Airport.
Director Commercial Rabia Salma officially opened the facility. The airport manager and members of the commercial team were also present at the event.
The PAA said such facilities are being introduced to improve passenger services and provide more convenience to people travelling through the airport.
What is the ‘Khush Aamdeed’ passenger facilitation service?
Khush Aamdeed will help passengers at different stages of their airport journey. This includes priority check-in, security clearance and personal assistance.
The service offers different packages. Some packages also include access to premium airport lounges.
Passengers can also choose airport pick-up and drop-off services based on their selected package.

Federal Secretary for Defence Lt Gen (retd) Muhammad Ali officially launched the service at a ceremony.
Senior government officials and representatives from the aviation and tourism sectors also attended the event.
Passengers travelling from Islamabad to Madinah were the first to use the new service.
The service has been approved by the Pakistan Airports Authority and is currently available at Islamabad International Airport.
