SSP Captain (retd) Hamza Humayun said on Friday that the viral social media video is fake, he also warned those spreading negative propaganda of legal action.
Taking to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, he said “A video attributed to me is circulating on social media as negative propaganda, which is not based on facts.”
He said that he wants to make it clear in this regard that, ‘contrary to reality, things have been presented in a wrong manner and context in the social media video solely for the sake of negative propaganda.’
“Contrary to the facts and out of context, I reserve the full right to take legal action against those spreading negative propaganda on social media,” he said.
“I will also take necessary legal action in this regard,” he added, warning those who are spreading the propaganda of legal action.

Captain (retd) Hamza Humayun is a prominent Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) officer belonging to the 43rd Common. He is serving as a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police currently.
Previously, Captain (retd) Hamza Humayun assumed charge as SSP Operations Safe City.
After taking charge, he chaired a meeting with all branch in-charges. The meeting reviewed the daily operations of the Safe City Division.
During the meeting, Hamza Humayun directed officers to improve security in the federal capital through the Safe City camera network.
He also called for better monitoring to identify criminal elements and take action against them.
Additionally, he directed officers to improve the police response to calls received through the Pucar-15 emergency helpline and other helplines.
He said citizens should receive proper guidance when they contact the police. Further, he ordered field officers to be informed quickly to help maintain smooth traffic.
He also stressed the need to properly monitor police patrol vehicles through the tracker system and ensure timely communication through the wireless control system.
Hamza Humayun said providing better services to citizens through the Safe City camera network and protecting their lives and property are among the top priorities of Islamabad Police.
He also asked citizens to immediately report any emergency or distress situation through the Pucar-15 emergency helpline or the One Info App.
