The recruitment process for Chief Technician BS-16 at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has been stopped.
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has issued a public notice regarding the withdrawal of the recruitment process. A notice regarding the withdrawal of the Chief Technician recruitment process has also been posted on the FPSC website.
According to the public notice, the Ministry of National Health has withdrawn the requisition sent to the FPSC for the post of Chief Technician at PIMS.
The notice stated that the requisition for Chief Technician was withdrawn due to amendments to the recruitment rules. Following the withdrawal of the requisition, no further action will be taken on this recruitment case.

The FPSC has informed the candidates about the latest status of the recruitment process; however, no date for starting a new recruitment process or sending a requisition under the revised rules has been mentioned in the public notice.
The post of Chief Technician BS-16 is at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, under the Ministry of National Health.
PIMS has recently been in the limelight due to the tragedy that took place. The fire incident resulted in the death of 14 children.

The singer delayed the concert in respect for the victims of the tragedy and expressed immense grief.
