Former Pakistani actress and TV host Mishi Khan has reacted to actress Faryal Gohar’s recent statements about her past marriage to actor Jamal Shah and alleged domestic violence.
Mishi Khan discussed the matter in a video shared on social media. She spoke about clips of Faryal Gohar that recently went viral.
In the clips, Faryal Gohar had talked about difficult experiences from her former married life.

Mishi Khan said that Faryal Gohar is a wonderful person. However, she questioned her decision to speak about events from many years ago.
Mishi pointed out that Faryal had appeared on a show with her former husband some time ago.
According to Mishi, both of them appeared comfortable with each other during the programme.
She also said that Faryal had mentioned having a good relationship with her former mother-in-law. Faryal had reportedly said that she still met her.
Khan then questioned why Faryal was now talking about her painful past after so many years.

Mishi said that Faryal had made serious allegations of violence against her former husband. She referred to claims that he had beaten her with a belt and kicked her around her kidneys.
She questioned how someone could sit with a person after facing such serious violence and appear happy and comfortable during a TV show.
Mishi said that if a person had treated someone in such a cruel way then most people would not even want to see them from a distance.
She added that Faryal and her former husband appeared to have a friendly conversation during the programme.
Mishi Khan further said that even if she had been offered millions of rupees, she would not have agreed to sit with such a person. She also questioned the reason for bringing up these old incidents now.

Actor Jamal Shah has broken his silence after his former wife, Faryal Gohar, made allegations about domestic abuse during their marriage.
Responding to a post on X discussing the allegations, Jamal Shah wrote: “Aurat par haat uthanay walay par laanat ho, mein is ke illawa kuch nahi bol sakta ke khuda us ko khush rakhay!!!!!”
In a separate post, he said, “I have never spoken ill of Faryal in any interview to date. Nida is like a daughter to me. When she called me for her program, she didn’t mention that Faryal would be there too. A day or so later, when she told me about it, refusing felt a bit awkward to me. I remained quite reserved during Nida’s program. And even then, when this channel announced they were making a serial about our lives, they asked for my consent. So I said I’d give an answer only after seeing the script. But now my answer is one hundred percent no, because these peddler channels aren’t worthy of me seeing the story of my life on this channel or ones like it. In the past too, I’ve rejected several crude scripts from various channels. But now, Inshallah, I will never come on this channel ARY!!!!
My marriage to Faryal lasted five years, and I have neither any regrets about it nor any bitterness. We separated in a very civilized manner, and for quite a long time, there was no mention of the divorce in the media at all.
