Wildlife team to trace Tigers
The sighting caused concern among residents because the animals were moving through a populated residential area.
Syed Hasnain, a resident of Gulberg Greens told APP that the incident raised questions about how dangerous animals are kept in residential communities.
The presence of two cubs also increased safety concerns. A mother tiger can become defensive if she believes her young are in danger. Residents were therefore advised to keep their distance and avoid gathering near the location where the animals were reportedly seen.
However, ththe tiger and cubs escaped from private captivity or came from another location.
No injuries were reported in the original report.
Authorities and security teams are focusing on finding the animals without putting residents or the tigers at unnecessary risk. Until they are safely traced, residents have been advised to stay alert, avoid approaching the animals and report any new sightings immediately.
