Hot, humid weather expected across most plains

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast hot and humid weather in most parts of the country, with rain expected in several areas during the evening and night.

Rain expected in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad is likely to remain hot and humid, with a 30% chance of rain during the evening and night.

Most plain districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to experience hot and humid weather. The upper districts may see partly cloudy conditions after noon.

Rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms is expected in Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kurram, Kohat and surrounding areas.

Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan to remain hot

Most districts of Punjab are likely to remain hot and humid. Rain may occur in Murree, the Galiyat region and nearby areas after noon.

Most districts of Sindh are also expected to remain hot and humid. Karachi and other coastal areas may experience partly cloudy skies with a chance of drizzle.

Most parts of Balochistan are expected to remain hot and humid, while partly cloudy weather is likely in coastal areas.

Dry weather expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan

Kashmir is expected to experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies.

Similar conditions are forecast for Gilgit-Baltistan, although rain may occur at a few places during the evening and night.
