The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has discontinued the issuance of hard copies of intermediate result cards, shifting to a fully digital system to provide students with easier access to their academic records.
Under the new policy, intermediate result cards will be issued in soft copy format instead of printed documents. The Lahore Board has informed all relevant educational institutions about the decision.
According to a spokesperson for the Lahore Board, result cards for regular candidates have been uploaded to the portals of their respective educational institutions. Private candidates can download their result cards directly from the board’s official website.
The spokesperson said that students would be able to verify the authenticity of their result cards online through the QR code printed on the digital documents.
The board said the move would ensure that students have quick and convenient access to their academic records without having to wait for printed result cards to be issued and delivered.
The transition to digital result cards is also expected to significantly reduce the board’s administrative and operational expenses.
According to the spokesperson, discontinuing the printing and postal delivery of result cards would lead to substantial savings in printing and mailing costs.
The board expects to save millions of rupees by eliminating the expenses associated with printing and distributing physical result cards.
The decision marks a shift towards digital record management and is intended to make the process of accessing and verifying academic documents more convenient for students and educational institutions.
With the new system in place, regular candidates will receive their result cards through their respective institutions, while private candidates will be able to access their documents online.
