TTP terrorists have been killed in Pakistani precision strikes in Afghanistan’s Kunar province, confirmed Afghan political leader Dr Barmak.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were present in Asadabad, the capital of Kunar province, when the strikes were carried out last night.
Dr Barmak has confirmed the deaths of the TTP terrorists, according to reports.
The development comes amid continued security concerns over the presence and activities of TTP terrorists in Afghanistan.
The strikes targeted TTP elements in Kunar, with further details about the operation and the identities of those killed expected to emerge.

Security forces killed two Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists during a successful operation in the Nokcha area of Chaghi district in Balochistan, according to security sources.
Security forces are continuing operations against terrorists in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
According to security sources, Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists set an empty water bowser on fire in Nokcha and attempted to flee the area.
Security forces responded swiftly and effectively, killing two terrorists in the operation, the sources said.
The terrorists were also involved in arson attacks at different locations along the N40 highway, according to security sources.
The sources said 11 Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists involved in similar destructive activities were also killed on August 31.
Security forces will continue operations against terrorists in Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated, the sources said.
