Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against England in the fourth match of the ODI tri-series at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday.
The match is being played as the Pink Day fixture of the tri-nation series. Pakistan have made two changes to their playing XI for the encounter. Shadab Khan has replaced Faheem Ashraf, while Razaullah is set to make his ODI debut in place of the injured Naseem Shah.
Pakistan’s cricket team will wear special pink kits during their One-Day International (ODI) against England in Lahore on October 25 to raise awareness about breast cancer among women.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dedicated the match to a breast cancer awareness campaign in collaboration with Pink Ribbon, highlighting the importance of early detection and timely treatment of the disease.
As part of the initiative, the PCB has also announced an auction of specially signed fan shirts bearing the signatures of Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi and star batter Babar Azam.
The proceeds from the auction will be used to support the treatment of breast cancer patients, particularly women who cannot afford medical expenses.
The PCB said the campaign would allow cricket fans to contribute to the cause while owning signed memorabilia and helping provide treatment to women battling breast cancer.
Earlier, Pakistan ODI captain Shaheen Afridi expressed confidence in the team ahead of its upcoming matches. He said the players are focused on playing good cricket and winning games.
