Another fake propaganda by anti-Pakistan political elements has been exposed, as the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) denied claims of discriminatory notices based on language.
In an official statement, NADRA said it categorically rejects a recent tweet claiming discriminatory notices.
The authority confirmed that no such notice has been displayed in any NADRA office across the country.
NADRA clarified that, under its national mandate, all citizens receive services without any discrimination.
The statement highlighted that certain political elements are spreading fabricated news on social media to create unrest and confusion in the country.
In another development, the Punjab Local Government Department, in partnership with NADRA, has introduced a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM)–based E-Registration App to fully digitise civil record services across the province.
The application, unveiled by Provincial Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafiq, allows citizens to register births, deaths, marriages, and divorces from home, ensuring faster and more transparent service delivery.
According to the minister, the app is seamlessly integrated with NADRA’s database, meaning that once information is entered, it is automatically updated at the national level without manual involvement. He noted that the system will help eliminate delays and errors in official documents for millions of people.
He termed the initiative a key achievement under Maryam Nawaz’s Digital Punjab Vision, stating that Punjab is advancing alongside developed countries through modern technology.
