Web desk: Renowned Pakistani actor Nauman Ijaz recently caught attention with a video where he took a dig at fellow actors Faisal Qureshi and Humayun Saeed.
In a recent interview, Nauman Ijaz not only discussed his craft but also made amusing remarks about makeup and screen glamour.

Smiling, he said, “I have never felt the need for makeup for my characters. I just wipe my face with a wet towel, and I’m ready.”
He added with humour, “On set, makeup artists often come to me repeatedly asking me to get my makeup done. I tell them, am I Faisal Qureshi or Humayun Saeed that I need makeup?”
Explaining his joke, Nauman Ijaz said that his focus is always on embodying the character according to the story.
“On screen, it’s about acting, not beauty or enhancement,” he emphasised.
He further clarified that he believes in presenting his character authentically rather than selling beauty.
Nauman Ijaz noted that an actor’s true strength lies in their performance and ability to bring life to a role. And not in ‘layers of makeup.’
