The Punjab government has clearly warned both government and private school administrations that any school found operating during the winter vacation period will face strict legal and disciplinary action.
In this respect the CEO Education Authority Lahore has issued strict orders to ensure full implementation of winter vacations in all government and private educational institutions across the provincial capital. A formal notification has been circulated, clearly stating that no school is allowed to remain open during the holidays.
According to the notification, any government or private school found operating during the winter vacation period will face strict legal and disciplinary action. The authorities have emphasized that no mercy or concession will be granted under any circumstances.
CEO also directed assistant and deputy education officers to conduct daily monitoring of schools within their respective jurisdictions. Officers have been instructed to submit immediate reports if any violation of the vacation orders is observed.
The notification further states that schools across Lahore will be closely monitored to ensure complete compliance with the winter vacation policy. Education officials have highlighted that winter holidays are granted keeping in view the health, safety, and well-being of students and teachers, making any violation unacceptable. Parents have also been urged to cooperate with authorities and report any school found operating during the winter holidays.
