Sindh Minister Nasir Shah apologises to CM KP

Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah has apologised to the Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sohail Afridi for any inconvenience he might have faced during his visit.

Talking to a private news channel, Nasir Shah added that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi had full protocol and was brought through safest routes with under Sindh police protection.

Nasir Hussain Shah had claimed that PTI was instructed to go to the ground, but they remained on the roads.

He added that PTI pursued the No-Objection Certificate (NOC) which was delayed for about 1-1.5 hours and they held the rally on road.

Minister Nasir Hussain Shah mentioned few statements of CM KP Sohail Afridi, including one about the President Asif Ali Zardari’s politics.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that if the President Zardari had forbidden them, they would have never facilitated the guests at the airport.

He added that they will investigate the incidence that occurred yesterday.

He said that CM KP Sohail Afridi had a scheduled visit and everyone was aware of that.

Nasir Hussain Shah said, “If anyone was pressurizing us, why would we welcome Saeed Ghani? PML-N did not complain to us”.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that after the notification was issued, they decided to hold the gathering on roads.

PTI leader Asad Qaiser, replied to Nasir Shah, stated that, “We can talk to everyone about the democratic charter. The Constitution and Law has given us the right to hold peaceful protests on the road”.
