The wedding card of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Safdar for his second wedding has gone viral on social media.
According to details, wedding card of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz son Junaid Safdar is being widely shared on social media, due to widespread interest of supporters and users. As per wedding card Walima ceremony will be held on January 18, 2026, at Jati Umra
Sources reveal that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif went to Dubai with Maryam Nawaz as well in December 2025 in connection with preparations regarding his grandson’s wedding. This visit was for concluding the arrangements for marriage of Junaid Safdar.
For some time reports about the wedding of Maryam Nawaz’s son had been on the internet, and now the viral wedding card cleared the air. Junaid Safdar’s bride to be is Shanazay Shaikh who is grand-daughter of Rohale Asghar Shaikh.
According to Rohale Asghar Shaikh, the wedding procedures will be taking place in 16, 17, and 18 January 2026. Ceremony of mehndi will be organised at Jati Umra, the baraat in Lake City and the walima also at Jati Umra.
He further declared that the wedding will not be organised as a public event and all the activities will be restricted to the close family members and relatives.
It was worth noting that this is Junaid Safdar’s second wedlock. His first marriage was with the daughter of Saif-ur-Rehman which ended up in divorce in October 2023.
