Due to the closure of airspace between Karachi and Lahore, several flights schedule will remain affected today and tomorrow.
According to a NOTAM issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the temporary closure of some air routes between Karachi and Lahore is due to operational reasons.
The temporary closure will be from 7 pm to 10 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, January 14 and 15, according to the NOTAM.
The NOTAM has advised the passengers to confirm their flight schedules with the relevant airlines before departure.

Due to the regional situation, Pakistan has intensified its aerial surveillance and multiple sectors of the Lahore and Karachi Flight Information Regions (FIRs) will remain closed, a private news channel reported.
Commercial pilots and airlines have been advised to stay highly alert.
They have been told to use only approved alternative flight routes during this period.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Airports Authority has started a digital payment system at all airports.
The step follows government orders and the State Bank’s financial inclusion drive.
Officials say it will make payments easier, ensure transparency, and support a modern financial system.
