A surprising revelation has come to light regarding the wedding performance cost of famous singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for singing at weddings.
Last week, the wedding of Faryal Talpur’s daughter Ayesha Talpur attracted a lot of attention on social media, where Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam performed their vocal magic.
Both singers performed their popular songs at the special request of the notable guests present at the ceremony.
Naeem Hanif’s claim
Senior anchor Naeem Hanif has recently made interesting revelations regarding the fees paid to famous singers for performing at weddings.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
According to him, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan charges around Rs12.5 million for performing at a wedding in Pakistan.
If he performs in another city, this amount increases further, while his fee almost doubles in the case of performances abroad.
Atif Aslam
Naeem Hanif said about Atif Aslam that he did not perform at weddings in the past, but about seven years ago, Malik Riaz offered him to sing at their family wedding, and Atif Aslam apparently demanded Rs15 million and tried to refuse the offer by Malik Riaz.

Abida Parveen
He further said that famous Sufi singer Abida Parveen usually does not perform due to health problems, but if she attends an event, she charges around sixty to seventy thousand dollars.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is set to perform on January 8 during the bidding ceremony for two new PSL franchises.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will mark the occasion as a celebration. In addition, sports journalists from across the country have been invited to attend the event in Islamabad.
