The latest leak reveals that Apple is planning a dramatic design overhaul for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, potentially ending the symmetry it has maintained for years. The 2026 flagship appears to move closer to Apple’s all-screen vision.
Renders show that Apple will relocate the front-facing camera to the top-left corner of the display, a bold departure from traditional placement.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max will also feature a variable aperture main camera, giving users DSLR-like control by physically adjusting light intake while enabling advanced portrait mode algorithms.
Inside, the device will run on the A20 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s 2nm process, and debut Apple’s C2 modem, the next-generation in-house hardware designed to replace Qualcomm components entirely.
Industry insiders suggest the corner camera design is more than cosmetic—it represents a critical step toward Apple’s long-term all-screen goal.
