Police registered a case on Saturday against six people, including the owner of a Gulberg hotel, after a fire broke out at the private property.

The accused named in the FIR include Gulberg hotel owner Nadeem Mirza, along with Fazeel Ahmed Khan, Atif Muhammad, Kamil Khan, Bilal Shah, and Muhammad Masaib.
The FIR states that a boiler installed in the basement of the Gulberg hotel was being operated through an illegal Sui gas connection. Police said the boiler was handled by an inexperienced operator, which increased the risk of an accident.
The FIR further revealed that authorities had earlier issued safety notices to the Gulberg hotel management for failing to meet required security measures. Despite the warnings, the management allegedly continued operations, showing negligence.
