In a horrific incident, three women and two children among seven lost their life after two two luxury vehicles collided near Yakmuch in Dalbadin.
According to police spokesperson, the dead bodies of two men, three women, and two children have been shifted to hospital. Three other individuals also sustained injuries in the accident.
Moreover, the rescue officials reached the spot of incident and rushed the injured to hospital.
Earlier, atleast 14 people including women and children died and many others were injured in a road accident in Sargodha due to heavy fog early Saturday morning.
According to rescue sources, 23 people were traveling in a mini truck near Gulpur Bangla area of Tehsil Kot Momin of Sargodha, but due to reduced visibility due to heavy fog, the mini truck went off the road and fell into a dry canal.
Seven people died on the spot after being crushed under the truck. Rescue personnel shifted the bodies and other seriously injured people to THQ Hospital, where another seven people died during treatment.
The deceased include six children, five women and three men. The accident victims were on their way from Islamabad to Faisalabad tto attend a funeral
One person was killed and seven others injured when a van collided with a tractor trolley late Thursday night in Hyderabad, the private media channel reported.
The accident occurred on Tando Jam Road when the van hit the tractor trolley head-on, leaving eight people injured. Eyewitnesses said the collision resulted from overspeeding.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and transferred the injured to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad, where one victim died during treatment. Rescue sources said most of the injured remain in critical condition.
Authorities have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
