SAZGAR Engineering Works Limited after an overwhelming response and exceptionally strong demand for the premium SUV across Pakistan, has announced revised delivery timelines for the GWM Tank 500 HEV and PHEV.
In the recent update given to customers, the company sent both thanks and appreciation to the Pakistani consumers for the trust and enthusiasm they have towards the GWM Tank 500 lineup. Describing the response in the market as unprecedented, SAZGAR said that the rise in bookings has far outweighed the initial expectations.
As a sign of gratitude, the company also announced that it will provide a free 7kW home charger with each GWM Tank 500 PHEV. This offer will apply on all existing as well as for future bookings. According to SAZGAR, the initiative is part of its commitment to improving the ownership experience of plug-in hybrid vehicle customers and to prop the easy home charging solutions.
Due to the enormous growth in confirmed orders, the company stated, it has become necessary to adjust the tentative delivery schedules to ensure that each vehicle is delivered according to GWM’s global quality standards and brand promise.
Under the revised schedule, it will take between 6 to 8 months for customers to receive the delivery of the GWM Tank 500 PHEV they have booked. Meanwhile, the timeline of delivery of the GWM Tank 500 HEV has been set at 7 to 9 months. These revised timelines will apply to all confirmed bookings from January 27, 2026 onwards.
SAZGAR had recognised that the concerned customers may have waiting for so long. However, it stressed that the decision was taken in the interests of transparency, quality assurance and customer satisfaction over the longer term, in line with its customers.
Reaffirming its commitment to the Pakistani market, SAZGAR said its teams are working hard to deliver vehicles on the earliest timelines possible with the standards that come with the brand name GWM.
