National T20 team captain Salman Ali Agha, before the big match against India, declared spinner Usman Tariq as the trump card and said that we will have to play good cricket.
While speaking at a press conference in Colombo, Salman Ali Agha said that for us all the players are the same, you all have made Usman Tariq, he is a trump card for us.
He said that discussion has continued regarding Usman Tariq’s bowling action, Usman Tariq has been cleared twice, don’t know why there is talk about his action, but none of this affects Usman Tariq, we cannot stop anyone’s opinion, everyone has permission.
He said that tomorrow will also be a big-level match, we are ready, we have to play good cricket, we are familiar with the conditions here and also know about the pitch, we cannot do anything about the rain, if overs are reduced due to rain, we have also planned for that.
The national team captain said that for me all 15 players are important, anyone can play, we will make our playing eleven after looking at the conditions, Babar Azam is scoring runs, it is not a matter of concern for us, hopefully Babar Azam will score runs tomorrow as well.
In response to a question, Salman Ali Agha said that against India our record in the World Cup has not been good, but we have learned from history and will try to play well tomorrow, planning has been done for India’s entire playing eleven.
Regarding a question about India’s aggressive batter Abhishek Sharma, Pakistan’s captain said that hopefully Abhishek’s recovery is going well and he will be available for his team.
He said that when you are doing captaincy it is an additional responsibility, there is also pressure, when you are representing the country everyone’s eyes are on you, we will have to play good cricket on the field.
