Samsung is preparing for its annual Galaxy Unpacked Event 2026 to reveal new devices and software updates.
The company is expecting to improve the user experience with these advancements.
Galaxy S26 features leaks
The Galaxy S26 series is expected to get major camera upgrades. Tipster Ice Universe said that Samsung will use a new noise reduction algorithm. This will also reduce noise in photos and videos.
The Galaxy S26 series includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The cameras are said to be brighter, cleaner, and sharper with better detail.
The tipster said the Galaxy S26 will have a 24MP mode. Users can capture high-resolution images with clear detail, even when zooming.
According to media reports, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display uses a two-layer optical system: microscopic “louvres” activated by liquid crystals first redirect wide-angle light, and prism-like refraction layers then block or internally reflect it.
As a result, side-angle viewers see little to nothing. While the screen remains clear and sharp when viewed head-on, the feature debuts with the Galaxy S26 Ultra on February 25.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to have a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera.
And a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The series may also get a 12MP selfie camera with autofocus.
Users will be able to record 4K 60fps Super HDR videos with all cameras. The primary camera can record 8K 30fps HDR videos.
Videos can also be recorded in the APV codec. This will also keep file sizes smaller and make editing easier.
