Pakistani cricketer and former national team all rounder Imad Wasim has responded to the allegations made by his ex-wife, Sania Ashfaq.
According to details shared by his legal team, the claims made by Sania Ashfaq are “baseless and false.”
Imad Wasim’s team has also issued a formal legal notice to her regarding the matter.

In the video, the advocate Aliya Zareen Abbasi stated that the accusation of forced abortion against Imad Wasim is completely unfounded.
Advocate Abbasi confirmed that Imad Wasim’s legal team has collected all necessary medical records related to the case.
She further clarified that the couple’s decision to travel to the United States for the World Cup in November 2023 was made with mutual consent, according to the reports.

Additionally, Abbasi stated that complete records of the UAE, Australia, and England tours in November 2023 have been obtained and will be presented in court.
She added that in November 2024, the couple separated due to mutual differences while Sania Ashfaq was pregnant.
Imad Wasim covered all expenses during the pregnancy, and after their child’s birth in July 2025, he has taken full responsibility for raising all three of their children.
It is worth noting that Imad Wasim recently married social media influencer Naila Raja, and a video of the wedding shared by Sania Ashfaq on social media sparked the allegations.
