Web desk: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that bookings under the Private Hajj Scheme 2026 will close at midnight on October 17, giving intending pilgrims four more days to apply.
The process is being carried out online through the ministry’s official portal and is part of efforts to finalise all applications within the deadline set by Saudi authorities.
That means there is still time for those wishing to perform Hajj, as bookings under the Private Hajj Scheme 2026 are still open.
However, only four days remain to complete the process.
According to reports, the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ online portal will close at midnight on October 17, after which no further bookings will be accepted.
So far, 44,000 pilgrims have secured their places under the private Hajj scheme, while 16,000 seats are still available.
Officials said the deadline cannot be extended as per Saudi government instructions.
The ministry has issued written directions to private Hajj operators to speed up the booking process.
Bookings for only 23,000 pilgrims have been finalised so far despite 25 days of activity.
In addition, 21,654 pilgrims who could not go for Hajj last year will be accommodated this year.
Hajj Scheme Details
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that the booking process under the Private Hajj Scheme 2026 will officially end on October 17 at midnight.
So far, around 44,000 pilgrims have registered out of the 60,000 quota set for private pilgrims.
Under the approved Hajj policy, all bookings must be completed before the deadline.
The spokesperson advised intending pilgrims to finalise their arrangements only through ministry-approved Hajj companies, make payments via official banking channels, and obtain a copy of their Hajj agreement from the operator.
After completing the booking, pilgrims are encouraged to visit the official website www.mora.gov.pk or use the “Pak Hajj 2026” mobile app for verification and further information.
