Psychologist Dr Kashif Faraz has openly spoken his truth regarding the incident that occurred on the show of famous TV host Fiza Ali.

Dr Kashif Faraz said in a video on his Instagram that he was invited to discuss the topic of mental health on the show, but later the matter turned into a controversy.

He clarified that he never takes money to appear as a guest on any show. His aim is only to provide information from his own experiences and the perspective of a mental health professional.

He said that thorough research is necessary before spreading any matter, and this is the principle he adopted in this incident.

The psychologist wrote in the caption of the post, “If I have hurt anyone with any of my words, style or behaviour during the Iftar transmission or on any occasion, I apologise from the bottom of my heart. My intention was never to hurt anyone. Please forgive me for the sake of Allah.”

He also wrote, “May Allah grant us all the ability to live with goodness, love and wisdom. Long live Islam! Long live Pakistan!”

Additionally, Dr Kashif said that he sometimes enjoys the memes created on the show in a light-hearted manner, but their purpose is never to hurt anyone or to contribute to increasing the show’s ratings.
