Traffic around the F 6 Press Club and nearby roads may face congestion. People are advised to avoid the area and plan their travel with extra time.
Commuters who normally pass through the F 6 Press Club area are advised to use alternate routes today.
Those travelling east to west can use the Srinagar Highway. For north to south travel, 9th Avenue can be used as an alternative route. Margalla Road may also be used where accessible.
People travelling between Rawalpindi and Islamabad can use the IJP Road to avoid the affected area.

Traffic Management plan for Eid shopping
Previously, in other news update the Karachi Traffic Police had introduced a special traffic management plan throughout the city to deal with the expected increase in traffic during the Eid shopping season, officials said on Thursday.
Under the strategy, the number of traffic personnel has been increased at key commercial centres, shopping malls and busy markets to control traffic flow.
Especially at peak hours in the evening when there is a high level of shopping activity.
Authorities want to lessen congestion and to ensure smooth movement on major roads.
