Iran’s deceased Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh is still alive, and claims regarding her death are false, as reported by Iran’s Fars News agency, which is associated with the Revolutionary Guard.
This information surfaced after Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei did not refer to his mother’s passing in his initial statement.
The former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in a strike conducted by the United States and Israel at the onset of the conflict.
In the following days, several reports emerged suggesting that Khamenei’s wife had also died in the strikes.
It is important to note that Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh has largely stayed away from the public eye throughout most of her life and is considered one of the least visible members of Iran’s ruling family.
The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was martyred in strikes carried out by the United States (US), as stated by Iranian state media.
According to the report from Iranian state media, Khamenei “was fulfilling his assigned responsibilities and was at his place of work (his office).”
Iranian state media announces deaths of Khamenei’s family members
Earlier, Iranian media revealed that multiple family members of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, which include a daughter, a son-in-law, and a grandchild, had been reported deceased.
“Following communication with reliable sources within the Supreme Leader’s residence, the news regarding the martyrdom of the daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter of the Revolutionary Leader has regrettably been verified,” reported Fars news agency along with other Iranian media outlets.
